Britt Baker has revealed she had been "nudging" Kenny Omega and Tony Khan to bring back Jamie Hayter to All Elite Wrestling.

Hayter previously competed in the promotion in late 2019, including in a match against Baker, but the promotion did not book her once the COVID-19 pandemic got underway due to travel restrictions between the United Kingdom and the United States.

Restrictions have since loosened, though, and Hayter returned to AEW as Baker's new muscle during the August 13 episode of Rampage.

While speaking about her new ally with the Milwaukee Record, Baker revealed she had been asking Tony Khan and Kenny Omega to bring back the former RevPro Women's Champion.

"Yeah, so when I wrestled her in England, right away we just clicked and I thought she was a fantastic wrestler," Baker said. "She has a really cool, edgy personality. We're kind of similar too in our dry, sarcastic humor and we just really clicked. We really got along. They were using her pretty frequently for a while for AEW, but then with the pandemic, the travel ban, of course, everything kind of was at a standstill.

"But then when stuff is opening up again, you know, I was kinda nudging Kenny and Tony like 'Hey, remember Jamie Hayter? Remember Jamie Hayter?' Because she's such a fantastic talent and everybody here - literally every single person in AEW - agrees that she's fantastic and we need her here."

Hayter will make her in-ring return on Wednesday's edition of Dynamite against Red Velvet.
