Brock Lesnar Mentoring Oba Femi Behind The Scenes In WWE

Brock Lesnar "sees something special" in Oba Femi and has been mentoring the two-time NXT Champion behind the scenes in WWE, Triple H has revealed.

"Brock is, he'll probably suplex me for saying this, Brock is hands-on with Oba Femi. He sees something special there and he's like, 'Okay, kid, come with me and I’m going to teach you. Here’s all the things you’ve got to learn.' He brings him in his room in the afternoon. They sit for hours and talk about this stuff. It’s that level of stuff that brings this next generation up," the WWE chief content officer said on WWE Radio.

Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi have been feuding for much of 2026, with their series currently tied at one win apiece and a rubber match set to take place inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam. Lesnar initially announced his retirement at WrestleMania 42, but that was promptly revealed to be a pro wrestling angle.

There have been rumours that Lesnar will legitimately retire following SummerSlam, but Triple H was coy on if that would be the case during an appearance on ESPN First Take.

Paul Levesque stated: "I’ve known him personally for that 20+ years. The one thing that I know more than anything else about Brock Lesnar is Brock Lesnar is gonna do whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do."
