Brock Lesnar Returns On WWE Raw

After just over one month off WWE TV, Brock Lesnar made his return on the July 3 edition of Monday Night Raw, appearing during the opening segment. 

Seth Rollins opened the post-Money in the Bank episode of Raw and immediately turned his attention to SummerSlam, asking who his next challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship would be. His call-out was answered by Cody Rhodes but before the American Nightmare could say anything, Brock Lesnar's music filled the arena as the former WWE Champion made his return.

Cody immediately ran up the entranceway to meet Lesnar and after a brawl on the outside and in the ring, Rhodes ended up standing tall following a Cody Cutter. 

A match between Lesnar and Rhodes at SummerSlam has not yet been made official but that is reportedly the plan, with WWE possibly set to revive a rarely-used stipulation for the match. One of the stipulations pitched is a Texas Bullrope Match.

Rhodes and Lesnar have been feuding since the Raw after WrestleMania 39. Their series is currently tied at one win apiece.
