Brody King Reportedly Signs With AEW

Malakai Black teased King's signing on this week's Dynamite

All Elite Wrestling have reportedly secured the signing of former ROH star Brody King.

Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net is reporting that AEW moved quickly to sign King to a deal following the news that Ring Of Honor would be going on hiatus in 2022 and all talent would see their contracts terminated with the promotion.

Haynes reports that one source claims King's deal with AEW was definitely done by Thanksgiving weekend but it is possible that the two sides reached an agreement in the immediate aftermath of ROH's status update.

King was one of the names in ROH that was widely anticipated to find a new home with relative ease, and it appears the 34-year-old is on his way to Tony Khan's promotion.

This week's episode of AEW Dynamite saw a vignette featuring Malakai Black, who teased a new member of the House Of Black and told the cloaked individual: "Now you're so much more than a king."

Black and King have also recently reunited in PWG, where they won the PWG Tag Team Championships.
