Bron Breakker Offers Dolph Ziggler WWE NXT Title Shot

WWE NXT Champion Bron Breaker has offered main roster Superstar Dolph Ziggler a shot at the title, tweeting:

"@HEELZiggler mentioned coming to NXT and taking my title. You want the next shot after Santos come on down. Your move #Iwillsayittoyourface"

This follows mounting tensions in various 'digital exclusive' promo segments and on social media. It began on the January 24 edition of Raw, when Ziggler and tag partner Robert Roode exchanged words with NXT Superstar LA Knight backstage. Knight invited the pair to NXT 2.0, only for the Dirty Dawgs to emphasise that they "work Mondays."

Following this, Breakker took to Twitter to mock Ziggler's elimination from the Royal Rumble, posting:

"Says he doesn’t work on Tuesdays … apparently he can’t work on Saturday either @HEELZiggler"

Ziggler responded in another digital exclusive interview segment, teasing that he might just take Breakker's NXT Championship from him. He also hinted at a possible appearance on tonight's episode of NXT. 

Breakker is set to defend the title against Santos Escobar at next week's NXT Vengeance Day event on February 15.
