Bronson Reed Returns To WWE

Bronson Reed is back in WWE!

16 months after he was released by WWE, Bronson Reed is back with the company.

The 34-year-old made his WWE return on the December 19 edition of Monday Night Raw during the Winner Takes All Ladder Match between Dexter Lumis and The Miz. Lumis was about to grab the bags of money hanging above the ring but Reed suddenly appeared inside the squared circle and pulled The Tortured Artist from the ladder.

Reed then proceeded to flatten Lumis with a Tsunami before he helped The Miz retrieve the bags of cash, confirming their alliance following the former Intercontinental Champion's win.

Reed's return kicks off his second run with WWE. He previously wrestled on NXT from 2019 until his release in August 2021. He received a push on the third brand during his final months with the company, reigning as the NXT North American Champion, but he reportedly failed to impress Vince McMahon ahead of a rumoured main roster call-up and was subsequently fired.

Following his release, Bronson Reed competed in IMPACT Wrestling before focusing on New Japan Pro-Wrestling from May 2022. He looked set to be a star in NJPW for years to come, even picking up a win over Kazuchika Okada during the G1 Climax 32 tournament. Okada would win their second match at Declaration of Power in October and a third match was teased, although it appears unlikely to happen unless Reed has secured a similar deal to Karl Anderson.
