Bronson Reed Suffered From Illness Ahead Of WWE Raw

Bronson Reed was ill during a recent WWE Raw appearance

Bronson Reed enjoyed a mammoth clash with Bobby Lashley on the April 10 edition of WWE Raw, but the former NXT North American Champion has since revealed that he was not at 100% and was suffering from illness prior to his bout.

Taking to Twitter, Reed revealed he had been sick with flu, saying the following: “Story ain’t over. Been sick all week with the flu, uncle Bobby still hasn't felt me at my full force. Stay tuned.”

Reed and Lashley first tangled in the recent Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WWE WrestleMania 39, with Lashley eliminating Reed from the match en route to victory.

Monday’s match was the first singles clash between Reed and Lashley, with the two going to a double count-out. The burgeoning feud will be Reed’s first clash of any importance since his return to WWE in December 2022, with Reed primarily used as a hired gun since his return. Reed did challenge for the WWE United States Championship inside the Elimination Chamber in February, but came up short.
