Bryan Danielson has admitted he is not sure if he is allowed to use the 'Yes!' chant that he has become so synonymous with in All Elite Wrestling.

Danielson's surprise debut for AEW at the end of All Out 2021 was met with loud shouts of 'Yes!' while the live crowd also did the pointing upwards motion that has been tied to the wrestler since his first World Title win in WWE in 2011.

As Daniel Bryan, he led the 'Yes Movement' in WWE, culminating in him defying all the odds and winning the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 30 seven years ago.

While Danielson was thrilled to see such a positive reaction to his AEW debut, the 40-year-old does not not what the intellectual property situation is with the 'Yes!' chants and does not want to disrespect WWE by using something they own.

Speaking during the post-AEW All Out media scrum, Danielson said "I mean it was awesome. I don’t know, we’re going to have to talk about what I can do and not do.

"One of the things I try to respect because, like I said, I appreciate the people I worked for before and respect their intellectual property and that sort of thing. So I’m making sure that I don’t contradict any of that.

"The fans doing it is great, but I’m not sure if I’m going to do it."
