Bryan Danielson Returning To AEW On Dynamite

Bryan Danielson has not appeared on any AEW programming since the May 29th Double Or Nothing pay-per-view but that is set to change this week.

AEW President Tony Khan announced Danielson is scheduled to return on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite. The American Dragon will address the June 26th Forbidden Door pay-per-view and Blood & Guts II on the show.

Zack Sabre Jr. recently challenged Danielson to a match at Forbidden Door to determine who the best technical wrestler in the world is. Blood & Guts, meanwhile, will return on the June 29 episode of Dynamite and is expected to involve a combination of Eddie Kingston, Blackpool Combat Club, and Santana & Ortiz against the Jericho Appreciation Society.

Danielson was dealing with an injury following Double Or Nothing. He competed in the Anarchy In The Arena Match at the pay-per-view, taking the fall for the team after being choked out with a ring rope by Jake Hager.

The former ROH World Champion has been a part of AEW since his debut at All Out in September of 2021.
