Bryan Danielson Vs. Christian Cage Set For AEW Collision

AEW Collision set to feature Christian Cage vs. Bryan Danielson

The October 14 edition of AEW Collision is set to feature a TNT Championship match, with champion Christian Cage set to put the belt on the line against Bryan Danielson.

Danielson overcame Swerve Strickland on the October 10 Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite to set up the title match, with Danielson, The Blackpool Combat Club, and Hangman Page running Cage, his associates, and The Mogul Embassy off at the end of the show. Dynamite went off the air with Cage tapping to Danielson’s LeBell Lock.

This will be only the fourth time in history that Danielson and Cage will face off in televised singles competition, having wrestled three times during their time in WWE. Danielson is currently 2-1 up in their series, with their last match coming on the February 17, 2014 edition of WWE Raw.

Cage has been the official TNT Champion since Grand Slam III, winning the title in a three-way match that included Darby Allin, and previous champion Luchasaurus. Prior to winning the title, Cage served as the unofficial uncrowned champion, carrying the physical belt whilst Luchasaurus carried out his bidding.
