Bryan Danielson: Why I'm Jealous Of Jade Cargill

Bryan Danielson spoke recently on The Ringer's Masked Man Show, touching on a variety of topics - including fellow AEW roster-member and current TBS Champion Jade Cargill. Danielson has had a hand in Cargill's development recently, and was very complimentary towards her:

"Can I say that I'm jealous? In the sense that she's been wrestling a little over ten months, maybe now 11 months, and she comes out with more presence and looks like more of a star than I have ever looked in my entire career." 

The 20-year veteran also spoke about Jade's positive mentality regarding hard work and staying grounded, stating:

"When I work with her she's so athletic and strong, and when it's time to work, she works. I've been really impressed by her in general and her attitude. It's easy to come in and, if you get a big push, to get a big head - and she's not like that at all. I've been impressed by that. When Tony [Khan] asked us to work together, I've been very impressed with how quickly she learns and how hard she works."

Danielson also mentioned the notion that inexperienced wrestlers receiving big pushes can often be the subject of jealousy for other talent, and admits that he's never been in quite the same situation as Cargill. He also praised her for being able to wrestle live, televised matches so early in her career, noting that he only had to do so after ten yeas of experience.
