Candice LeRae Returns To WWE, Makes Main Roster Debut On Raw

Candice LeRae back in WWE

Candice LeRae made her WWE main roster debut on Monday's Raw in Edmonton, which also marks her overall return to the company.

LeRae appeared on the broadcast as a surprise opponent for Nikki ASH, and defeated her in a brief outing.

LeRae's appearance comes five weeks after her husband, Johnny Gargano, made his return to WWE (also on Monday Night Raw).

The match is LeRae's first since July 6, 2021, when she and Indi Hartwell lost the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles to Io Shirai and Zoey Stark. After that match, LeRae was inactive from the ring while waiting to give birth to her and Gargano's first child (their son was born in February).

LeRae remained with WWE until her contract expired on May 6, and she opted not to renew it. Gargano had departed from WWE the prior December.

LeRae originally signed with WWE in early 2018 and was assigned to NXT. There, she became involved in Gargano's feuds, particularly with former partner Tommaso Ciampa.

In late 2020, LeRae formed The Way with Gargano, Hartwell, and Austin Theory.
