Change Made To Hangman Page Vs. Swerve Strickland At AEW All Out

AEW All Out match between Hangman Page & Swerve Strickland changed

Hangman Page vs. Swerve Strickland has been one of the most intense bitter feuds in All Elite Wrestling history, and with days to go until their next bout, AEW have made a change to the match.

The two were originally set to face off in a Steel Cage Match at All Out on September 7, but after a crazed Hangman Page set fire to Swerve’s literal house on the September 4 edition of AEW Dynamite, the match has now changed to an Unsanctioned ‘Lights Out’ Steel Cage Match, with AEW CEO Tony Khan making the change after Dynamite went off the air.

AEW have run only a handful of unsanctioned Lights Out matches. The stipulation is not contested under AEW’s jurisdiction, with win/loss records not affected by the result. Basically, we can expect a violent bloodbath, which considering Hangman and Swerve’s past could be something truly unhinged.

The match is expected to main event All Out 2024.

Updated card - AEW All Out, September 7, 2024:

  • Bryan Danielson (c) vs. Jack Perry - AEW World Championship
  • Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page - Unsanctioned Lights Out Steel Cage Match
  • Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander - Chicago Street Fight
  • Will Ospreay (c) vs. PAC - AEW International Championship
  • The Young Bucks (c) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) - AEW World Tag Team Championships
  • MJF vs. Daniel Garcia
  • Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Hikaru Shida - TBS Championship
