All Elite Wrestling secured a win in their legal battle with Kevin Kelly and the Tate Twins as a federal judge in Pennsylvania ruled the case should be moved to a federal court in Florida.

Judge Mia R. Perez ruled that the clauses in Kelly and the Tate Twins' contracts which state that disputes be litigated in Florida should be enforced.

"The forum selection clauses are standard within the professional wrestling industry, and the contracts were primarily negotiated, executed, and administered from Jacksonville, Florida. Thus, enforcement in Florida would not be so seriously inconvenient as to be unreasonable. Considering the convenience of the parties and the interest of justice, the balance favors transfer to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida," Perez ruled.

Kevin Kelly and Brandon and Brendan Tate sued AEW, Tony Khan, and Ian Riccaboni on August 30. Kelly and Tate Twins have alleged defamation and that they are misclassified as independent contractors. Kelly has also claimed that AEW breached his contract and prevented him from securing work outside of the promotion. Kelly and the Tate Twins are represented by Benjamin Baer and Stephen P. New, who is Jim Cornette's go-to lawyer.

AEW responded to the lawsuit in October, filing to compel arbitration. This would force Kelly and the Tate Twins to resolve their allegations privately. Kelly and Tate Twins have argued the arbitration clauses in their contracts should be void.
