TNA Wrestling are on the road to Slammiversary, but the main event of the show has been changed with a few weeks to go until the PPV event.

Originally TNA World Champion Trick Williams was set to put the title on the line against former champion Joe Hendry in singles competition, however Mike Santana has been officially added to the bout, making it a three-way match.

Santana demanded to be added to the match on a recent episode of IMPACT, and TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella acquiesced to Santana’s request, with TNA confirming Santana’s addition on X/Twitter on June 30.

Since shockingly defeating Hendry for the title at NXT Battleground on May 25, Williams has successfully defended the championship on three occasions, including a win over Santana. Trick recently defended the title against Josh Briggs on the June 24 edition of WWE NXT TV.

Confirmed card; TNA Slammiversary, July 20, 2025:

  • Trick Williams (c) vs. Joe Hendry vs. Mike Santana - TNA World Championship
  • Moose (c) vs. Leon Slater - TNA X-Division Championship
  • The Nemeths (c) vs. The Hardys vs. The Rascalz vs. Fir$t Cla$$ - TNA World Tag Team Championship Ladder Match
