Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville Added To WWE WrestleMania 39

The Women's Showcase Match has been set for WrestleMania 39.

Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville earned the final spots in the match on the March 27 edition of Monday Night Raw, defeating the team of Mia Yim and Candice LeRae in under three minutes to punch their tickets to WrestleMania. Green and Deville will team together against Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, Shotzi & Natalya, and Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan. No stipulation has been announced for the match but it is expected the winners will challenge for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships in the future. 

Chelsea Green initially looked set to team with Carmella at WrestleMania 39 as the two talents had been aligned on Raw since Green's return at the Royal Rumble but Carmella suddenly disappeared from TV last week. Green teamed with Piper Niven as a replacement but Adam Pearce informed Chelsea on March 27 that Niven didn't want anything to do with her.

WrestleMania 39 will take place on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
