Chelsea Green Receiving Praise Following WWE Money In The Bank

Although she didn't win the briefcase, Chelsea Green has been singled out for praise following WWE Money in the Bank.

Chelsea Green has received particular praise from within WWE in the aftermath of last weekend's Money in the Bank show.

Although she didn't win the briefcase, Green was often a focal point of the women's ladder match. As well as some comedy spots early on while the other competitors were brawling outside of the ring, she also contributed to some of the bout's bigger moments later on. The finishing spot of the match was particularly memorable, one which saw Green fall from a ladder in the ring through a pair of tables on the outside.

A report from Fightful Select has revealed that Green's commitment to promoting the match - and her performance within the bout itself - has garnered particular internal praise. It states:

"While she'd already maintained a positive reputation backstage, several within WWE reached out to Fightful over the weekend to sing her praises.

"One area of particular interest was Chelsea Green's promotion of the match itself. WWE officials Sean Ross Sapp spoke with said that not only did she do local media, but she headed to Toronto mid-week to do it. In addition, she heavily promoted the event and match itself on social media."

In regard to the closing spot, Fightful Select reveals:

"We were told that Green was very comfortable taking the bump to end the match and treated it like a 'no big deal' situation. Those we heard from were very happy how it all unfolded and said that she took the spot as safely as possible."
