TNA Wrestling have provided an update on Chris Bey following his serious injury at Sunday's post-Bound For Glory taping of TNA IMPACT.

TNA have announced that Bey is now recovering in hospital after undergoing surgery for the neck injury he suffered on Sunday. Bey was said to be in good spirits on Monday night while resting in his hospital room, during which he was joking around and talking about Bound For Glory.

Bey will remain in Detroit for a few days as he recovers. TNA management and wrestlers are also staying in Detroit, while family members have joined Bey in the 'Motor City.'

Bey suffered the neck injury on a neckbreaker spot at Sunday's tapings during ABC's match with The Hardys. The match abruptly ended following the injury and Bey was put in a neck brace and taken backstage.

Chris Bey has been signed with TNA Wrestling since February 2020. He is a three-time tag team champion with ABC tag team partner Ace Austin and a one-time X-Division Champion.

A GoFundMe has been launched to help pay for Chris Bey's medical bills.
