Christian Cage Debuts At AEW Revolution, Signs With Promotion

Captain Charisma is All Elite

Five weeks after making his in-ring return in the men's 2021 WWE Royal Rumble match, Christian Cage has debuted in All Elite Wrestling, revealed as the surprise that Paul Wight promised on Wednesday night's Dynamite.

Earlier in the night, Wight followed up on his previous "Hall of Fame-worthy" clue by adding that the mystery person could "outwork" everyone in AEW.

After the Face of the Revolution ladder match, Justin Roberts set up the entrance for the mystery signing. A remixed version of Christian's old TNA theme played (complete with the countdown from ten), culminating with Christian Cage's name appearing on the screen.

Without saying a word, Christian entered the ring, signed his contract, and revealed his new shirt, which reads, "Out. Work. Everyone."

Christian's appearance in the 2021 Royal Rumble match was his first wrestling action since 2014, when he was forced to retire due to a concussion.

In his career, Christian has held the NWA World Heavyweight title twice, WWE's World Heavyweight title twice, ECW championship twice, four Intercontinental titles, and is a seven time WWE World Tag Team champion with Edge.
