Christian Cage didn't hold back while discussing Adam Cole on last night's edition of AEW Dynamite.

Cage and Jurassic Express have continued their feud with The Elite since Cole's AEW debut at All Out and the three-time ROH World Champion challenged Captain Charisma and Jurassic Express to a six-man tag team match against The SuperKliq on the September 24 episode of Rampage.

While accepting the challenge in a backstage interview, Cage took some shots at Cole and his recent WWE run.

"You know JB [Jungle Boy], sorry I didn't mean to cut you off but I'm just thinking here, Adam does have pretty good friends. The Super Elite that used their EVP status to throw him a lifeline and drag his sorry ass out of developmental. Here's the thing Adam, we accept your challenge. And you know what? Since you're already used to losing Wednesday Night Wars, you better add Friday night to that list as well," Cage said.

Cole spent the last four years in WWE NXT, the brand that went head-to-head with AEW Dynamite in the Wednesday Night Wars. Dynamite dominated the ratings war, though, and NXT moved to Tuesday nights in April.
