CM Punk Reveals Which AEW Stars Could Tempt AJ Mendez Out Of Retirement
Will AJ Mendez ever return to the ring?
AJ Mendez (FKA AJ Lee) has been retired since 2015 but fans have continued to clamour for the former WWE Divas Champion to at least have one more match.
If Mendez will ever return to the ring remains to be seen but CM Punk revealed to Skewed and Reviewed that his wife might be tempted to make an in-ring return to face Jade Cargill or Britt Baker.
"Sometimes she'll be like, 'Tell me when the girls are on.' She's a big fan of Jade [Cargill]. I think women like Jade and Britt [Baker] especially, if she's ever going to want to wrestle, I think they're the ones that can draw her in based on looks and ability and the work," Punk said.
The AEW World Champion noted he doesn't know if Mendez will ever come back to the squared circle, though.
Mendez is involved in wrestling once again behind the scenes and she joined WOW last year as an executive producer. She will also provide colour commentary for their upcoming series that will air in late 2022.
