CM Punk Vs. Wardlow & More Set For AEW Dynamite

Several matches have been added to next week's edition of AEW Dynamite at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.

While CM Punk won't get his hands on MJF on January 12, he will go one-on-one with Friedman's muscle Wardlow. 

The Second City Saviour and MJF continued their feud on the January 5 edition of Dynamite, and Friedman was disqualified in his match against Shawn Dean after Punk interfered. The former WWE Champion then promised to come after MJF until he agreed to face him. MJF wouldn't accept the challenge, though, and he gave Punk a match with Wardlow instead. 

Wardlow has been dominant in AEW in recent months and he is currently on a 19-match unbeaten run in singles and tag team action since his loss to Chris Jericho in August of 2021. 

Hikaru Shida will also face Serena Deeb for the fourth time next week. The former AEW Women's World Champion currently has a 2-1 record against Deeb. 

Dante Martin will take on Team Taz's Powerhouse Hobbs next week too as the faction look to exact revenge on Martin for duping them in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale.
