A top CMLL star has reportedly also signed with All Elite Wrestling on a dual contract, meaning they will be a full-time member of both rosters.
Per a report corroborated by LuchaBlog - but as yet unconfirmed - Hechicero has seemingly signed with AEW on top of his pre-existing deal with CMLL. The deal was believed to have originally been set to be announced during AEW Grand Slam Mexico but has for some reason been held up.
The technical rudo has been working with AEW since January 2024 as part of the working relationship between AEW and CMLL. Now part of The Don Callis Family, Hechicero’s AEW appearances have been occurring on a more frequent basis in recent months, with the former CMLL World Champion having competed in an AEW ring on seven occasions since May 2025, with a further two appearances in Arena México as part of the Grand Slam Mexico/ROH Global Wars series of events in June.
Hechicero and Family member Josh Alexander teamed with The Young Bucks to defeat Bandido, Brody King, and JetSpeed on the July 17 edition of AEW Dynamite, several days after a loss alongside The Family to Big Boom AJ, Kyle O’Reilly, Bandido, and Tomohiro Ishii on the AEW All In Texas pre-show.
