Cody Rhodes Attacked By Seth Rollins On WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes' feud with Seth Rollins looks set to continue

Cody Rhodes was seemingly written off WWE TV on Monday's episode of Raw but his feud with Seth Rollins looks set to continue when The American Nightmare returns.

Rhodes opened Monday Night Raw and following a promo in which he teased winning the Money In The Bank Ladder Match in only one month's time, the former Intercontinental Champion was interrupted by Seth Rollins. The Visionary proceeded to say that Dusty Rhodes would be very proud of his baby boy as Cody struggled to hold back tears and both men then shook hands, seemingly bringing their rivalry to an end.

Rollins then headed backstage but as Rhodes also made his way up the ramp, Seth suddenly attacked The American Nightmare, decking him with a sledgehammer from behind. A targeted attack from Rollins followed as he put the sledgehammer to good use on Cody's torn pectoral muscle.

WWE officials eventually managed to force Rollins backstage and Rhodes refused medical help as he walked to the back under his own power.

Cody seemingly being written off TV comes after Rhodes tore his pectoral muscle completely off the bone ahead of Hell In A Cell. He will undergo surgery later this week, reportedly on Thursday, and he is expected to be out of action for the next four to six months.
