Cody Rhodes Involved In Rare WWE Merchandise Feat

Cody Rhodes’ WWE return has seen a huge surge in his star power, which has been evident from crowd reactions, big matches, and with him becoming one of WWE’s top merchandise sellers over the last couple of years. According to Fightful Select, Rhodes has achieved a rare feat as a merchandise mover. 

Fightful confirmed with WWE that Rhodes has been outselling generic WWE merchandise during recent live events, which is something which very rarely happens in the company. This includes items with the WWE logo on such as t-shirts, title belts, and more - and this is usually the top seller unsurprisingly. 

This just goes to show the popularity of Rhodes is still as prominent as it was at the start of the year, if not more. It was further noted by Fightful that at some events, the returning John Cena has surpassed Rhodes in terms of sales, but it has been back and forth. Cena has always been  a major merchandise mover, and was often at the top during his full-time run with the company, so it isn’t a shock to see that trend continue since he returned to WWE.
