Cody Rhodes Reacts To AEW's TNT Status Following Kevin Reilly's Departure From WarnerMedia

Reilly was a big supporter of the young promotion...

WarnerMedia recently announced a major corporate shake-up which will see President of TNT Kevin Reilly leave the company.

Reilly had been a big supporter of All Elite Wrestling and was one of the driving forces behind Tony Khan creating the promotion following a meeting they had in April 2018.

Khan tweeted: "I explained that to them pretty clearly in the interview, to be fair. I officially started on the project that became AEW on April 6, 2018 when I saw my friend Kevin Reilly at a party in Beverly Hills & said that I was interested in creating a wrestling league + working together."

With Reilly gone from TNT, some wondered if the change would affect AEW after their current TV deal expires at the end of 2023.

AEW EVP Cody Rhodes quickly reassured everyone over the weekend, however, as after a fan asked him if people should be worried about the future of the young promotion, The American Nightmare replied: "No. We have been blessed to have had so many viewers(even opposed), thus the 3+ year extension. It's a great partnership!"
