Cody Rhodes Returns on September 15 AEW Dynamite
Rhodes was last seen on August 4
Cody Rhodes made his return to All Elite Wrestling on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite, going after the man who he will face next Wednesday - Malakai Black.
Rhodes made his comeback through the crowd at the September 15 AEW Dynamite as Black confronted Roasario Dawson, who is a panellist alongside Rhodes on the 'Go Big Show'.
The former TNT Champion and Black would brawl around the ringside area and into the crowd, with the show fading into a commercial break as the two kept fighting. Clips posted on social media showed the two continued to fight in the concourse.
Rhodes has not been seen on AEW television since the August 4 episode of Dynamite, when Black defeated the American Nightmare in a quick, one-sided match on his in-ring debut for AEW. Following the bout, Black would attack Rhodes again as he began to address the audience.
Since then, Black has gone after other members of the Nightmare Family, including Brock Anderson, Lee Johnson, and Dustin Rhodes.
Rhodes will get his opportunity at revenge against Black in their highly anticipated rematch on September 22 at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
