Cody Rhodes Vs. Seth Rollins Added To WWE WrestleMania Backlash

A WrestleMania rematch

Another rematch from WrestleMania 38 is official for WrestleMania Backlash next month, as Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will once more go one on one.

On an edition of Miz TV during Monday's Raw, Rhodes spoke of his WrestleMania encounter with Rollins, and said he would give Rollins a rematch any time he wished.

Later in the broadcast, after Rhodes successfully defeated The Miz in singles action, Rollins said he would like to have that rematch at WrestleMania Backlash, where Rhodes would not have the element of surprise on his side. Rhodes accepted the challenge.

After leaving AEW in February, Rhodes returned to WWE on the first night of WrestleMania 38 on April 2, as a mystery opponent for Rollins that was hand picked by Vince McMahon. Rhodes went on to win what was a very well-received match.

The current card for WWE WrestleMania Backlash, taking place Sunday, May 8 at Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI, is as follows:

* SmackDown Women's/I Quit match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey

* Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins
