Creed Brothers Become WWE Tag Title Number One Contenders On WWE Raw

WWE Raw saw new number one tag team contenders, as the Creeds continue to impress.

Last night's Raw saw the Creed Brothers become the new number one contenders to the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles. Brutus and Julius won a Tag Team Turmoil gauntlet match, outlasting DIY, the New Day and Imperium. Before the Creeds' arrival in the bout, we also saw action from Otis and Akira Tozawa of Alpha Academy, as well as Indus Sher.

No date has yet been confirmed for the title match. The belts are currently held by Finn Balor and Damian Priest of the Judgment Day, who took part on the losing side of the men's WarGames match at Saturday night's Survivor Series PLE. Priest is also the current holder of the men's Money in the Bank briefcase.

Initially part of the Diamond Mine stable originally led by Roderick Strong, the Creed Brothers only became Raw Superstars recently, officially moving up from NXT on November 6 along with stablemate Ivy Nile. They had a successful time in WWE's developmental brand, winning the NXT Tag Team Championship and the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.
