Dalton Castle Clarifies AEW Status

Dalton Castle sheds some light on his relationship with AEW

With Tony Khan’s purchase of Ring of Honor in early 2022, some faces from ROH history started appearing on AEW TV outside of ROH PPV events. One such name was former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle, with Castle and his Boys lifting the ROH World Six-Man Tag Titles at Death Before Dishonor in July.

Since then, Castle has continued to appear on AEW TV semi-regularly, and during an appearance on Bobby Fish’s Undisputed Podcast, Castle gave an insight on his AEW status:

“I can [discuss my work situation]. At the moment, I’ve been doing some - the last three weeks, I’ve been on with AEW which was really, really cool. They’ve brought me in. Each week, I don’t know if I’m coming back because I don’t technically work there but I am the Ring of Honor Six-Man Tag Champion… The Boys and I. But I have been there quite frequently and it’s been fun. It’s been nice,” said Castle.

The Boys - aka the Tate Twins - revealed in August that they had signed deals with AEW/ROH, although it is not known what kind of deal the two have signed.
