Daniel Garcia To Wrestle At TERMINUS

The first grappler on the card

Daniel Garcia is the first grappler set for the upcoming TERMINUS event on January 16, 2022.

Former ROH Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham recently announced the venture, with the show set to put an emphasis on 'modern age grappling' from the Kroc Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Garcia has cemented himself as a rising star within the industry over the past 12 months and he signed with All Elite Wrestling in October. He has faced the likes of CM Punk, Minoru Suzuki, Jonathan Gresham, Darby Allin and Jay White so far this year and a match with Eddie Kingston looks to be on the horizon.

Few details are known about TERMINUS beyond the January 16 event, but Baron Black, Gresham's partner in the venture, revealed to Fightful they have been thinking about running a show for years.

"This is basically an idea that me and Jon had for years. We came up training together in Atlanta and we always had this idea, we used to tell each other after training or after shows and on the road, 'We're going to run a show. We're going to do it and it's going to be awesome.' We were saying that for years. If you see the line of collaboration years in the making, it is absolutely real. We've been talking about this for a long time and the stars finally aligned for it and now we're finally doing it," Black said.
