Darby Allin Named First Entrant For Casino Ladder Match At AEW Double Or Nothing

The first entrant in AEW Double or Nothing's Casino Ladder match is a wrestler not at all afraid to take great risks.

AEW announced Sunday that Darby Allin is the first participant in the match that will determine a number one contender for the AEW World Heavyweight title, currently held by Jon Moxley.

AEW wrote, "Your first entrant in the Casino Ladder Match is the relentless @DarbyAllin! Is he your pick to win?"

Allin was the first individual to challenge for the AEW World Heavyweight title on an episode of Dynamite, losing to Chris Jericho in a wild brawl on October 16.

He recently took part in the eight-man tournament to crown the first TNT champion. There, Allin defeating Sammy Guevara in the quarterfinals before losing a tough match to Cody Rhodes in the semis.

The current card for AEW Double or Nothing, taking place on May 23 at a location not yet finalized, is as follows:

*AEW World Heavyweight: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Brodie Lee

*AEW TNT tournament final: Cody Rhodes vs. Lance Archer

*MJF vs. Jungle Boy

*Casino Ladder match: Darby Allin vs. TBD
