Dark Order Fail To Recruit Adam Cole After Evil Uno Calls Him 'Budge'

No Adam Cole in Dark Order after Evil Uno's antics

Dark Order were so close to having a new member but Evil Uno ultimately screwed things up for the faction.

Adam Cole's history with Alex Reynolds and John Silver has been somewhat of a mixed bag. Cole took issue with being called Budge but they bonded in other ways to the point that Cole didn't mind being kissed on the cheek by Silver and Reynolds as much.

Cole had been off AEW TV since June of 2022 but he returned in recent weeks, turning babyface in the process. With this in mind, Silver and Reynolds looked to recruit Cole to Dark Order on Being The Elite, appealing to the former ROH World Champion's love of factions and apologising for calling him Budge.

Cole looked to be close to accepting their offer to join Dark Order but Evil Uno suddenly appeared and promptly called Cole "Budge", ruining any chance the stable had of adding the former Undisputed ERA leader to their ranks.

Dark Order have been a group in All Elite Wrestling since 2019 but the stable experienced a mass exodus in 2022, with the likes of Anna Jay, Tay Melo, Stu Grayson, Angels, and Preston Vance all leaving the faction. Colt Cabana has also mostly transitioned to Ring of Honor, leaving Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, and John Silver as Dark Order's remaining members.
