Deonna Purrazzo To Challenge For ROH Women's Title On January 13 IMPACT

Big match coming up

Deonna Purrazzo will have another opportunity to win gold following the Hard To Kill pay-per-view on January 8.

Scott D'Amore announced on Thursday's episode of IMPACT that Purrazzo will challenge Rok-C for the ROH Women's World Championship on the January 13 edition of IMPACT Wrestling. The match will also be Rok-C's IMPACT debut and will be taped on January 9 at the Factory in Dallas, Texas.

The match was teased at Final Battle on December 11 after Rok-C successfully defended the ROH Women's World Title against Willow Nightingale. In a surprise, Purrazzo made her way to the ring following the match and challenged Rok-C to a Winner Take All Match after The Virtuosa defeats Mickie James for the Knockouts Title at Hard To Kill. Rok-C accepted that challenge, which would also seemingly include Purrazzo's AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.

The ROH Women's World Title won't be the only Ring Of Honor championship on the line in IMPACT Wrestling in January. It was previously announced that Jonathan Gresham will defend his ROH World Title against Chris Sabin at Hard To Kill. Gresham captured the world title at Final Battle, defeating Jay Lethal for the vacant championship.
