Diamond Dallas Page Looking At Making Jake Roberts Movie

Diamond Dallas Page is currently in the process of working on a movie about the life of fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jake 'The Snake' Roberts.

DDP famously helped The Snake in his attempts at achieving sobriety, which was chronicled in the 2014 documentary 'The Resurrection of Jake The Snake.' 

According to Page, he has been approached about turning the documentary into a feature film. 

Speaking with ComingSoon.net, Dallas said: 

"If anybody has ever seen The Resurrection of Jake the Snake, in 2014, we released that. That's a documentary that's [got] a lot of power to it. Recently, I've been approached about making that a movie — a scripted movie that'll end up on a big screen, and they love the story. So that's something I'm super excited about".

Roberts and Dallas co-host the DDP Snake Pit podcast together.

There are currently several high-profile wrestling biopics in the works, including one on Hulk Hogan (starring Chris Hemsworth), as well as The Iron Claw, which will look at the Von Erich wrestling family (starring Zac Efron, Lily James, MJF and others).
