Former WWE star D'Lo Brown recently discussed a potential Hall of Fame induction, noting that he will only go in on the condition that the late Darren 'Droz' Drozdov go in with him.
Asked by Conrad Thompson about being inducted during a recent edition of The False Finish, the former WWE Intercontinental and European champion said:
"I have never, ever - this part, I've never said ever anywhere. You've got a breaking, new exclusive here. If I am ever fortunate enough to go into the WWE Hall of Fame, I am only going in if Darren can go in with me".
Brown and Drozdov were wrestling against one another at a WWE television taping on October 5, 1999 when Droz landed wrong on a running powerbomb and was paralysed. Drozdov was quadriplegic due to the incident, but later regained most of the use of his upper body and arms. The former NFL player harboured no ill will towards Brown and repeatedly stated that what happened was an accident with nobody to blame for it.
Droz passed away in June 2023 at the age of 54. A scholarship was subsequently launched in his honour.
