Over the weekend, reports  noted that Dominik Dijakovic will be the next NXT Superstar heading to the main roster and he is expected to debut on Monday Night Raw in the coming weeks. This comes after Kurt Angle announced Matt Riddle would be joining Friday Night SmackDown on last week's episode.

Dijakovic has already hinted at his plans on the main roster as he tweeted an image of the United States Championship last night. Whether he is placed in a rivalry with Apollo Crews remains to be seen as The One Man Nation is currently embroiled in a feud with Andrade, having defeated El Idolo for the title last week.

This would place Dominik in a similar position to his time in NXT. He spent much of his run on the black and gold brand battling Keith Lee and was elevated to the North American Championship picture before and after NXT TakeOver: Portland. Ultimately he was unsuccessful in both his title matches, and WWE seemingly sees him as a key challenger for a mid-card title.
