WWE Hall of Famer and current President of the United States Donald Trump has been invited to attend an upcoming show from TNA Wrestling, although he would have to cross into Canada to do so.
TNA and Zone.ify will co-produce 'The Border Brawl', a pro wrestling show of Canada vs. the United States from the Niagara Falls Convention Centre in Ontario, Canada on May 25. Ahead of the show, Zone.ify have officially invited Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney to attend the show.
President of Zone.tv Doug Edwards said: "The level of political sparring in the US-Canada trade and tariff talks has been a spectacle, to say the least. Having our two leaders settle this at the 'Border Brawl' wrestling event may be the best and most entertaining way to get the deals done."
'The Border Brawl' will feature a lineup of TNA Wrestling's talents along with Brutus Beefcake, Kelly Kelly, Jacques Rougeau, and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
Relations between Canada and the United States have been tense since Trump's election due to the WWE Hall of Famer repeatedly advocating for Canada to become the 51st state of the US. Those tensions played out at Elimination Chamber as the Toronto crowd booed the United States national anthem.
