Donovan Dijak Backstage At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Donovan Dijak was backstage at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Dijak didn't waste any time visiting All Elite Wrestling following the end of his WWE contract.

Dijak officially departed WWE upon the expiration of his contract on June 28 and he revealed on a recent stream with MxM that he has already pitched and submitted ideas to AEW.

Now going by Donovan Dijak once again, the former WWE NXT star was backstage at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday night, having travelled from New Hampshire to Long Island, New York's UBS Arena. It emerged while the pay-per-view was on the air that Dijak was backstage and the man himself has since confirmed he was at the show, tweeting Tony Khan: "Great show man, thanks for having me."

Whether talks took place between All Elite Wrestling and Dijak while he was backstage at the pay-per-view or if Dijak was simply visiting is unknown.

Dijak made his first post-WWE appearance over the weekend, making a shock appearance at Blitzkrieg Pro where he attacked CPA and hit his Feast Your Eyes signature move. Dijak then noted that he will show up anywhere at any time and he has been booked to face Michael Oku at RevPro's show in Coventry on July 29.
