Dragon Lee Set For WWE SmackDown Next Week

NXT’s Dragon Lee recently made his WWE main roster debut with an unsuccessful attempt at winning the NXT North American Championship from Dominik Mysterio. During this match, fans got on board with Dragon Lee despite him never being seen on Raw or SmackDown before. He followed this up by appearing in the crowd on the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, getting into a physical altercation with Austin Theory. 

It was announced shortly after that Dragon Lee would be making his SmackDown debut next week in a singles match against the former United States Champion Theory. Whether this means a full-time call up to the main roster for Dragon Lee or if this is more an example of NXT crossover and integration to boost the developmental brand is unclear, but it is a big deal for Lee nonetheless. 

This is the only match announced for SmackDown next week, though it was also noted that the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Damian Priest and Finn Balor of The Judgment Day will also be on the show.
