Drake Maverick Manages EC3 During WWE SmackDown Live Dark Match
The pair worked well together in IMPACT Wrestling...
EC3 returned to WWE at the start of last year, and despite a move to the main roster at the start of this year, things haven't really got going for him in NXT, on Raw, or SmackDown Live.
However, things could be about to change for the two-time IMPACT World Champion, as he was paired with his former manager and current 205 Live boss Drake Maverick for a SmackDown Live dark match last night.
EC3 took on Luke Harper, and lost.

Mr. Carter and the-then Rockstar Spud enjoyed a wonderful run together during their respective stints in IMPACT Wrestling. The pair had a highly-rated hair match back in 2015, with Spud losing his mane on that occasion.
With just six televised main roster singles matches (winning three, and losing three) under his belt since moving from NXT, it's going to be interesting to see if EC3 can actually get going in WWE, and if this new/old pairing with Drake will stay together.
Of course, Maverick was managing the AOP before Rezar went down with an injury, and hasn't been seen on Raw for some time.
