Drew McIntyre Comments On Potential Cody Rhodes WWE Return

Drew McIntyre recently appeared on In The Kliq podcast and spoke about the possibility of Cody Rhodes returning to WWE. The former AEW EVP made headlines after sensationally leaving Tony Khan's promotion, with WWE reportedly his next destination. 

On the subject, McIntyre said:

“Yeah, I mean I read all the headlines just like everyone else online. Like 20% of them actually happen. If he comes back, good for him. That’d be awesome. I know what it feels like to be gone from WWE feeling like you should have achieved more and come back to do it. Knowing him the way I know him, he probably feels the same way about unfinished business. So if it materializes, then, awesome. He’s such a talent and will be more than welcome on the roster.”

Drew and Cody once enjoyed a tag title reign together, winning the (then) WWE Tag Team titles at Night of Champions 2010. The belts are now known as the Raw Tag Team Championship, and are currently held by Chad Gable and Otis.
