Dustin Rhodes Gives His Thoughts On AEW Hiring Jeff Jarrett
Jeff Jarrett and Dustin Rhodes are now co-workers in AEW
With one guitar shot to Darby Allin Jeff Jarrett announced his arrival in AEW, as both in-ring talent, and the new Director of Business Development.
Jarrett’s hiring has raised eyebrows in some quarters, and been hailed as a shrewd business move by others due to Jarrett’s experience on both sides of the camera. One familiar face Jarrett will see in AEW is that of Dustin Rhodes, and ‘The Natural’ gave his thoughts on Jarrett’s hiring, saying the following to the Sports Guys Talking Wrestling podcast:
"It's going to be great," said Rhodes. "He has quite an extensive background for stuff like this, for the live events, for international, and distribution, and things of that nature. He’s been behind the camera and in the truck, and as a director running the shows with TNA... I think he's going to make an immediate impact."
The two worked together across WWF, WCW, and TNA, with the feuding in the latter days of WCW. It remains to be seen if Dustin and Jarrett will go one-on-one once more, this time in an AEW ring.
