Edge's "25th Anniversary" Celebration To Take Place In Two Weeks On WWE SmackDown
WWE will host a celebration for Edge in two weeks time
Edge’s 2023 has been quite stop-start, making sporadic appearances since WrestleMania 39 for a triple threat match in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament, and then again for an appearance on the Grayson Waller Effect, which was followed by a match. His next appearance has now been announced.
On last night’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, it was revealed that the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Edge’s career would be taking place in two weeks time in his home of Toronto, Ontario.
Edge has been advertised for this show for a little while, so his appearance was already known, but the news of a celebration is a recent development. Whether this will be the start of an angle, the set up to a match, or simply just a celebration of his career is currently unknown. This show was seen by some as potentially hosting Edge’s last ever match in WWE before hanging up his boots, but it now seems as though he will continue on for a little longer.
