Elton John Is All Elite! Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting Will Be Official AEW Collision Theme

An Elton John classic will introduce AEW Collision

That’s right, Elton John is (unofficially) All Elite! With the impending debut of the AEW Collision show coming up later tonight, Tony Khan has taken to Twitter to reveal the opening theme song for his brand new project, and it is none other than Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting by Elton John.

“It's official! Our opening theme for Saturday Night #AEWCollision on TNT is Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting by Sir Elton John! While Fulham FC and Watford FC will never be best mates on the pitch, you're now a great friend to AEW, @eltonofficial, and we salute you, Sir!”

AEW would also later reveal the brand-new opening video package for Collision which will be accompanied by this classic song, featuring the likes of CM Punk, Scorpio Sky, the AEW World Trios Champions the House of Black, Sting, Thunder Rosa, Miro, Andrade El Idolo, the AEW World Champion MJF, Powerhouse Hobbs, International Champion Orange Cassidy and more.

The card for AEW Collision’s first episode is currently looking like this;

  • CM Punk & FTR vs. Jay White, Juice Robinson & Samoa Joe
  • Miro in action
  • Andrade El Idolo vs. Buddy Matthews
  • Toni Storm & Ruby Soho vs. Willow Nightingale & Skye Blue
  • Wardlow (c) vs. Luchasaurus - TNT Championship
  • The Acclaimed promo
