Ethan Page Challenges Darby Allin To A Coffin Match At AEW Road Rager

Says pinning Allin isn't enough

AEW's first ever Coffin match appears to be forthcoming, as Ethan Page challenged Darby Allin to such a match during Saturday night's episode of AEW Dynamite.

After defeating Bear Bronson in a singles match, Page took the mic, cutting a promo on Allin. Although he and Scorpio Sky defeated Allin in a handicap match on last week's Dynamite, Page admitted that pinning Allin just isn't enough. And so, he laid out a challenge for Allin to face him in a Coffin match at the "Road Rager" edition of Dynamite on Wednesday, July 7.

Allin and Sting defeated Page and Sky at Double or Nothing on May 30. Previously, Allin and Page faced off in several acclaimed matches in EVOLVE in 2016-17, including an Anything Goes match and a Last Man Standing match.

Road Rager takes place in at the Knight Center in Miami, FL. It will be AEW's first event held outside of Jacksonville since April of 2020.

Already signed for Road Rager is a Strap match, in which Cody Rhodes will take on QT Marshall.
