EXCLUSIVE: Tom Campbell To Be The Play-By-Play Commentator For World Of Sport Wrestling

Cultaholic Wrestling can exclusively reveal that our own Tom Campbell will be the play-by-play commentator for WOS Wrestling! Tom will be at Epic Studios in Norwich, England on Saturday, September 14 for the tapings that will see the relaunch of World of Sport, shows which are aptly named WOS: The Return. 

World of Sport Wrestling officially announced their return in late June and new programming from WOS Wrestling will air on the World of Sport Wrestling website and the promotion's social media channels. This includes X (FKA Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. 

"I'm beyond honoured to become a small part of the lineage of World Of Sport, the place that gave us the timeless Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks and modern stars like Sha Samuels and my boy GRADO!" Campbell said.

"Wrestling has been part of my life since I was a child and to be joining the commentary table of one of the most influential wrestling brands in history is something young Tom would lose his mind over. I cannot wait to get started! Thank you, Grapple Fans."

Alongside Tom Campbell, WOS: The Return will feature the likes of Grado, Alex Windsor, Sha Samuels, Adam Maxted, Martin Kirby, Alpha Male Iestyn Rees, Bullit, Joel Redman, LA Taylor, and Nightshade. So Cal Val will be the host of the tapings. 

ITV's World of Sport was the benchmark for British wrestling in the 1970s and 1980s, with WOS enjoying a full-scale revival in 2018. The company went on hiatus in 2019 before its relaunch in June.
