Amidst reports of major changes on the horizon, WWE NXT will cap off SummerSlam weekend with NXT TakeOver 36 from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. The show is scheduled to begin at 8 pm ET/ 1 am BST on Sunday, August 22. Fans can watch the show on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network internationally.

The TakeOver card could arguably be the best show of what has been a major weekend for professional wrestling and Adam Cole vs. Kyle O'Reilly III and WALTER vs. Ilja Dragunov II have the potential to be show-stealers. There is also the small matter of Samoa Joe's in-ring return and The Samoan Submission Machine may well leave the Capitol Wrestling Center as the new NXT Champion.

The full card is as follows:

  • Adam Cole vs. Kyle O'Reilly - Two-out-of-Three Falls Match
  • Karrion Kross (c) vs. Samoa Joe - NXT Championship
  • WALTER (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov - NXT United Kingdom Championship
  • LA Knight (c) vs. Cameron Grimes - Million Dollar Title - Ted DiBiase will become LA Knight's butler if Cameron Grimes loses.
  • Raquel Gonzalez (c) vs. Dakota Kai - NXT Women's Championship

Coming off their SummerSlam predictions contest, Ross Tweddell and Andrew Hodkinson have given their picks for NXT TakeOver 36. The winner will receive a mystery prize. Check out the video below:
