First Entrant For WWE Women's Royal Rumble 2024 Match Confirmed

The Women's Royal Rumble finally has an entrant

WWE’s next premium live event in their calendar is the 2024 Royal Rumble show, and the build to that event has begun on WWE programming. Cody Rhodes and CM Punk have each put their name in the hat for the main event of WrestleMania 40, declaring their entries into the Men’s Royal Rumble match and instantly emerging as the two main favourites. When it comes to the Women’s Royal Rumble, the first entrant has now been announced.

On last night’s December 15 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Bayley was on commentary as the reunited Kabuki Warriors and Damage CTRL members of Kairi Sane and Asuka took on Mia Yim and Zelina Vega in tag team action. During the match, she announced her official entry into the Women’s Royal Rumble match, making her the very first person on the women’s side to declare herself.

This is an interesting development given that Bayley’s own Damage CTRL ally Iyo Sky is the current reigning WWE Women’s Champion, meaning that if Bayley won the Rumble, she could well go after her friend.
