Former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Trevor Lee Signs With WWE

The signings continue...

WWE's rather aggressive talent signing policy has made all kinds of headlines in recent times, with the company signing just about every single indy talent with a modicum of steam behind their name.

The formation of AEW only looks to have sent the signing of talent into overdrive on WWE's part, as the impending arrival of former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA has seen another big name head for the yellow of NXT - that name is Trevor Lee.

Lee, a former Impact Wrestling X-Division Champion, announced where his in-ring future is headed on Saturday night at the CWF Mid-Atlantic event in Gibsonville, North Carolina. However, Lee promised to stick with the company until he loses their Mid-Atlantic title - a title dropping that will almost certainly happen on February 2 during a six-pack scramble at CWF Stronger.

Trained by Matt and Jeff Hardy, Lee has wrestled all over the world in a career that has spanned 11 years at this point. During that time he has turned out for promotions such as PWG and OMEGA Championship Wrestling.
